Quality Control Process

Pungkook rigorously manages quality based on a standardized system to ensure consistency. Our dedicated IQC, QC, and QA teams strictly oversee every stage from raw materials to finished products. Providing the highest quality products to our global partners is our unwavering commitment.

01

Fabric/leather Incoming Inspection

All fabrics are sampled upon arrival to check color, thickness, appearance, damage, and coating condition. Any abnormality is immediately reported to the supplier, and defective materials are quarantined for replacement. As fabric defects can affect the overall production quality, this is a top-priority control point.

Key Factors of Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

The quality of fabrics and accessories directly determines the finished product's quality.

01

Inspection Plan

  • Establishes inspection priorities and criteria based on material risk, usage ratio, and past issue history
  • Defines inspection frequency and AQL standards in advance, with flexibility to adjust for customer needs
  • Includes tailored inspection items per material type for effective, targeted inspections

Color Management with Datacolor Spectro

Pungkook actively uses the Datacolor Spectro system to maintain consistent color quality and prevent shade variation. As a globally recognized precision color measurement and analysis solution, Datacolor is a key instrument in our color quality management system.

01

Quantitative Color Measurement

Unlike RGB-based visual judgment, Datacolor Spectro quantifies colors using spectral data, enabling precise detection of even the slightest color differences
This allows us to identify and address early-stage shade variations that are not visible to the naked eye
02

Shade Variation Control

All incoming materials and production samples are evaluated against the standard swatch using ΔE values
Materials exceeding the ΔE threshold are blocked from use and immediately reported to the supplier
This method effectively prevents shade variation between products
03

Color History & Data Tracking

All color data from materials, samples, and finished goods is stored for historical tracking and trend analysis
Past color data can be retrieved instantly, ensuring color consistency for repeat orders
04

Compliance with Global Buyer Standards

Datacolor-based measurement meets the strict color standards of global brands
Objective data enhances reliability and persuasiveness during buyer approval processes
